#Mamavation Monday - I got a new job!!

Hi ladies! Hope you all had a wonderful, productive week! Here's my vlog!

Weight: 264.6 (+2lbs) Grr.

Congrats to our sista of the week, April, @GAFlyGirl!

Our sponsor this week is once again, the awesome Subway! I am loving reading about Jared's training for the marathon and the #CommitToFit campaign! I was contacted by Subway to set up my interview with Jared, and I will be interviewing him after the marathon! Subway is offering a $50 gift card from Lulu Lemon, a green Gaiam gym bag and a yoga mat for our giveaway!

Make sure to stop in and see Tracey Mallet as our guest speaker on MamavationTV! I am SO excited!

I love watching your Vlogs! Congrats on the new job. Very exciting!!! I bet those meds are holding you back a bit, but you are always a motivating pillar for me. You're awesome, I enjoy seeing what you're eating with your tweets. Let's go get it this week :)

Woo Hoo at the new job, that is always exciting especially if there is room for you to move up.

Are you still feeling okay with the meds despite the weight gain? I know you mentioned before that it was making a difference.

Best of luck to you this week! keep up the good work with the walks during your lunch break. I need to get back into that while the weather is still good.

Congrats on the new job!!
I hope you can wean off the steroids soon, I know when I have been on them before they make me feel really wonky.
Good luck!

YAY! on the new job!

I was on prednisone. While I was pregnant... it was the only time I gained weight. It made me eat like crazy! That stuff is evil... I hope if the doc won't take you off of it completely maybe he can find an alternative?

So sorry about the gain, but like you said, it'll start falling off again once you get off the meds.

Keep it up, momma!

congrats on the new job! you sounds so excited! i love your vlogs--i might just work up to doing some because i'm always so impressed with yours. crossing my fingers that you get to work with the doc abt the prednisone. that is serious stuff--my hub and two kids have all had to take it b/c of asthma and i know its the last thing our doc wants to put them on b/c of the side effects. don't forget to get in some dairy to combat bone loss that prednisone can cause. have a fabulous week!

Stoopid medication :P

I am looking forward to you watching you get back in your body as you put it. What I have seen of your journey there have been a few hiccups but your enthusiasm and acceptance is motivating to me. I know you will do well with your health/fitness goals because you seem ready for your success. Have a good week and I hope your Dr. feels your body is ready to wean off the meds.

WHOO!! Congratulations on the new job~ :) I'm super excited for you. I think you hit it on the head.. The meds not only do things physically for you but it takes a mental toll as well!

<3<3<3 You <3<3<3

You know, this whole weight loss thing is full of ups and downs, so don't be hard on yourself, especially when sometimes, it's out of our control! <3

Love ya!

Ugh medications...boo! Rest assured you won't be on it forever and as frustrating as it is that you're on it and it's messing with your weight, it is helping your body heal and set the UC right. Also, by continuing to work out and concentrate on your nutrition, when you are off the meds, you'll already have those habits well established!
I'm so excited for you to start your new job (yay!) but sad you'll be away from Twitter more (boo!). But with the extra income and benefits, that's one less stress to worry about!
Whoo hoo!

Definitely the prednisone. You're lucky you didn't gain more!! It'll come off. Call the doctor back if you want to go off of the meds, or ask the nurse how to go off of it.

Congrats on the new job, girl!!! Woohooo!!! What are you going to buy me with the extra money?

Congrats on the new job!!! See things work out for a reason.... Yeah your meds are more than likely the reason that you have gained. You are awesome and doing so great!!

Hey Doll,

The "fidgeting" is due to the Prednisone. Maybe just kicking in?

My daughter was on it for Asthma and she went from too skinny to tubby really fast and she was only 7.

So your gain is only temporary darling. Once you get that Prednisone out of your system you'll be able to drop it again!

Hugs and congrats on the new job!!

Don't worry about the gain. Especially if you had a really good week, it should be water or something. That will pass soon.

Congrats on the new job!!!

If you're doing well with food & exercise, then you are taking care of the things that are within your control. That's all that you can ask of yourself! So good for you, Kimberly!

Congrats on the new job too! Hugs!
