#Mamavation Monday - Move it & Lose it!!

Hi everyone! I am so psyched for the Twitter Party and the beginning of a new campaign! I am also super excited to be a participant in the Move it and Lose it challenge!
Here is my vlog for this week!

I realize I mentioned the colonoscopy but never told what the diagnosis was. The doc says I have Ulcerative Colitis, which is a better diagnosis than we were expecting! Thank God! There is not a cure, yet, for Ulcerative Colitis but I will be able to manage it with meds and diet.

Hey there's an ewok behind you!
Simply can't wait to see those numbers go down, and I know they will! Tell the dr. you want to go off the prednisone!!

XOXOXOX

Love your shadow!!! He's adorable. So glad the procedure went well for you and that the results are a little more bearable. Thankfully diet will help a lot with UC. Hugs girl... I'm joining ya in the Move It Challenge... as soon as I find a tape measure I'll post all my stats.

I know the steroids are messing with you right now. I hope the doc takes you off them sooner rather than later!

You have an awesome attitude, Kimberly!!

I am so glad that your diagnosis was UC and not Crohn's. UC is totally manageable with good diet and active living, which you're working on anyway! Don't be discouraged if it takes awhile to get that balance back. It will come. It may take awhile but it will come. And I will help you out in anyway I can! Yay for fit friends!!

I think you carry your weight well. From looking at your pictures, I can't tell you weigh 262 lbs.

I'm so glad the procedure is over and it wasn't too bad. Nasty stuff to drink, huh? Was it Barium? YUCK!

SO glad your prognosis wasn't more serious!! This will be a great challenge - you're such a cutie!!

What a cutie, checking in on you over the chair!

I'd say a .2 gain while taking prednisone is a victory! That stuff makes you puff up like a blowfish.

Good luck in the Move It & Lose It challenge, I know you'll do great.

I just love your vlogs.

So, I'm glad the prognosis is what it is. I know how scary those things can be. I am in agreement with the ladies that say "make them take you off the prednisone!" but I'm no doctor. I'm just a chick who is excited to cheer you on!

UC isn't a fun diagnosis to have, but it is something that's maneagable! Wasn't the prep worse than the procedure though? I've had 2 colonoscopies and the prep is horrid...

I'm looking forward to doing Move it & Lose it challenge with you!

Next time they make you have a colonoscopy tell them you want to take the pills instead of the liquid. That is what my mom said, lol. I am glad that things are going better for you and I know that as you start getting your diet straightened out you will see an improvement in your health.

I hope you are well enough to go off the steroid soon so you can start getting back to your body. Good luck in the MiLi Challenge. I am competitive to the core but wouldn't be that upset if you were to obliterate me :)
