When God's plans are different from yours... #Mamavation Monday

Hi everyone! I am getting ready to head off to church, so I will get to the point...

Here's the vlog...

Keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I go to have a Colonoscopy on Tuesday!

Here's my weight... (Ouch.)

And here's what's happening Monday night!

Our Special Guest this week will be: The Mamavation Finalists

I'm so sorry that you had to drop out, but it's good that if you do have some issues, that the doctor find out. I was on prednisone for my lungs about a year ago and I gained 5 pounds in a week. It's notorious for that.

If you do have one of those diseases, there are ways of changing your diet to help it. I'll recommend a book that my MIL has on this once we know if you have a problem.

You're so cute!!

Kimberly,

I will admit I was bummed to hear that you couldn't participate in the running but the most important thing is that you get well. I'm glad to hear the medicine your doctor gave you has made you feel better! I will definitely be sending up prayers for you on Tuesday. God is always in control and I'm praying for good news and for your continued health.

My heart broke just a little for you. I'm sorry that you can't participate this time around. I know you had your heart set on it. The bright side though, is that hopefully this procedure (even though it won't be fun) will help give you a diagnosis and subsequent treatment plan that will help you in the long run. January isn't too far away.
I'm still here to support you no matter what k? I'm here for you.
Praying for you for Tuesday. Let me know how it goes.

Just remember what Mamavation is all about...getting HEALTHY. Even though you had to drop out of the running, you're still working on getting yourself healthy. Best of luck with the doctor, and I hope everything goes smoothly!

I was so upset to hear your doc didnt give you the green light to apply this campaign but....the key is to get you better first! As soon as they figure things out I know you will get back it and lose that 4lb gain and more! And I cant wait to see you in January back at it applying. :)

So sorry you had to drop out! I know it meant a lot to you to participate in the campaign!

However, you must focus on getting better and on yourself! There will always be more campaigns in which you can participate.

I don't blame you for being nervous about the colonoscopy! THey keep trying to get me to go ahead and have one as routine bc my dad passed away from colon cancer at age 52. However, I am too scared to do it, so hats off to you lady!

Don't get down about now participating. Don't let it affect how you view the campaign. Just think, you have that much more time to "practice" until it's your time to be Mamavation mom!!

Prednisone is the devil with weight gain. You must remember that is a steroid. My brother with kidney disease and my aunt with lupus/kidney disease take it regularly. It's rough! Hang in there lady! Increase your strength training and turn that nasty gain into some MAMA GUNS!

HAve a great week lady.

**HUGS**

I am pretty bummed you had to pull out of the running to be a campaign mom. This campaign was designed for someone like you who is appreciative what you are learning through Mamavation and using those lessons to better yourself and your family. You 150% have my support for the future as you become healthy.

Now about getting healthy... good luck tomorrow. I hope the exam goes well and that they are able to diagnose what is going on. In the diagnosis of my random food issues it took 5+ years w/ various specialist. The worst was not knowing and having a medical team that was also baffled. With answers come relief as you can work on a treatment.

You are in my thoughts going into tomorrow.

I FIRMLY believe in "everything happens for a reason" ... I am sorry this did not workout for you but I can only imagine that it must be because something better is headed your way!

Stay strong! And I cannot wait to cheer you on in the next campaign! You are one awesome lady and I wish only the best for you! You and your family are in my prayers!

You will definitely be in my prayers for Tuesday. Try not to think of the "what ifs." With the medical issues and with the Mamavation campaign. Move forward each day in faith. Hang in there!!

I was so sad to see you out of the running, but you have to do what is best for you. Good luck with your surgery, you will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Kimberly, HUGS! :*( I was so sad last week when I heard your news. And worried about you too. But you have to find out what is going on so you can kick it in the butt (no pun intended). My mom had a colonoscopy done and the good thing is they knock you out so you don't know what is going on. I really hope they get your problems figured out and get you back on the road to getting healthy.

And hey your plan might have been to be the next Mamavation Mom. But God saw this as an opportunity to get you focused on your health. Don't be discouraged. God is using this little hiccup for your good and more importantly for HIS good!!

I'm so upset for you. You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers, and God has a reason for this.

At first I was mad at the dr. ,but then I realized that he probably knows what's right, and GOD knows what's best.

I love you!
